West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday attended a Supreme Court session critical to petitions disputing the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of the state's electoral rolls.
The Chief Minister, accompanied by her legal team, arrived in court room one seeking permission to personally argue the case.
The hearing, overseen by a bench consisting of Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and Vipul M Pancholi, also includes filings from Mostari Banu and TMC MPs Derek O'Brien and Dola Sen.
