Four Arrested in Connection with Gang Rape of Minor in Jharkhand

Authorities in Jharkhand have arrested four people, including a woman, in relation to the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl. The crime occurred in the Bokaro district, prompting an investigation upon a complaint lodged by the victim's mother.

Superintendent of Police Harvinder Singh confirmed at a press conference that the incident happened on Monday, with the complaint officially recorded Tuesday night. It emerged that a local woman was allegedly complicit by sending the victim away with three young men.

The case, involving suspects aged 18 to 26, is being pursued under the POCSO Act. A dedicated team quickly led to the apprehension of the accused, ensuring the case moves toward justice.
