The Delhi Police have arrested the brother and uncle of a 20-year-old student for fabricating an acid attack story in northwest Delhi's Ashok Vihar.

Identified as Wakeel, 42, and the student's brother, they attempted to falsely implicate others due to a family dispute. Her father, Akil Khan, already in custody for rape allegations, executed the plan.

A forensic investigation revealed no acid traces, leading to the family's arrest. The student initially claimed her attackers were associates unrelated to her family, raising suspicions which police confirmed via CCTV footage.
