Heist in Disguise: Robbers Pose as Police in Bold Rajasthan Robbery

In a dramatic turn of events, three men have been arrested for executing a high-profile robbery in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar by masquerading as police officers. The robbers used a modified vehicle with a red beacon, making their act all the more convincing, an official revealed.
Delhi Police, in collaboration with their Rajasthan counterparts, apprehended Baljinder Singh, a 50-year-old man, his 25-year-old son Saravjeet Singh, and their 40-year-old accomplice Surender Singh from Delhi. The trio were caught following coordinated raids based on key leads.
The robbery shook the town on the night of October 18 when five to six armed men stormed into Gurcharan Singh's residence, holding his family at gunpoint and ransacking the property for valuables. A senior officer highlighted that Baljinder Singh, a notorious offender involved in over 52 cases, was central to the operation. His arrest led to the capture of his aides, with investigations still ongoing.
