A Delhi court postponed a decision on Tuesday in the ongoing case involving the eviction of Seema Raj, wife of Congress leader Udit Raj, from her Pandara Park bungalow in New Delhi. The hearing was delayed to November 12 after Seema Raj requested additional time to file a suitable application.

The proceedings fall under the Public Premises (Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act. The former MP's wife, a retired IRS officer, is contesting the eviction from the government-allotted residence. Principal District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna noted that the Directorate of Estate had filed a vacation report confirming that the premises had been vacated.

Udit Raj had previously claimed that his family was forcibly evicted from the property, citing the matter as sub-judice. Following Tuesday’s session, Udit Raj emphasized the necessity of filing an application to restore possession of the Pandara Park property, underscoring the need to prevent similar actions against others in comparable situations in the future.
