In a recent development, a Delhi court has placed Vasu Bubna in judicial custody for 14 days in connection with a case of cruelty and abetment of his wife's suicide.

Presiding over the case, judicial magistrate Satendra Pal Singh emphasized the necessity of Bubna’s remand to facilitate a thorough investigation. The ongoing inquiry awaits the authentication of the victim's suicide note, alongside the completion of a post-mortem report.

The court recognized concerns raised by the prosecution regarding Bubna's potential to evade law enforcement, solidifying their decision to ensure his presence in upcoming legal proceedings scheduled for November 7. Ekta Jain, Bubna's wife, died on October 21, leading to his arrest by Laxmi Nagar Police on October 24.
