BJP MP Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri has called for a judicial investigation into corruption allegations against Karnataka Assembly Speaker U T Khader during his tenure. Kageri asserts that the parliament's speaker's office should be subject to the Right to Information Act to guarantee transparency.
Kageri, who previously held this prestigious position, highlighted the importance of keeping the Speaker's role beyond reproach. He pointed to various projects that were allegedly rushed through using exemptions, suggesting potential misuse influenced by the Chief Minister.
