In a recent cabinet meeting, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed frustration over the delayed distribution of financial assistance to flood-stricken farmers and citizens in the state.
Sources revealed that the CM directed the state Chief Secretary to rectify the situation, emphasizing the necessity of swift and timely aid to those affected.
The government had previously announced a substantial Rs 31,628 crore relief package aimed at compensating losses from this year’s monsoon floods, impacting 29 districts and 253 talukas.
