In a significant move to fortify border security, BSF Special Director General Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal visited Tripura to engage in strategic discussions with Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and Chief Minister Manik Saha.
Upon his arrival, Aggarwal was briefed on operational strategies by the BSF Frontier Inspector General, Aloke Kumar Chakraborty. His agenda included evaluating the security scenario and addressing state-specific concerns.
The visit, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and morale, also featured important interactions with the Tripura DGP, Chief Secretary, and field commanders. With an 856 km border with Bangladesh, Tripura is a critical point of focus for BSF operations.
