Three policemen lost their lives on Friday in a tragic sequence of explosions in Pakistan's troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The incidents took place in Hangu city, with the first blast targeting a police checkpost, according to Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed.
The second explosion, which occurred as officers were heading to the site of the initial blast, resulted in the death of Superintendent of Police Operations Hangu, Asad Zubair, due to his sustained injuries.
