Fake TTE Busted on Jhelum Express: Imposter's Army Claims Under Scrutiny

In a dramatic turn of events, a man allegedly masquerading as a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) was arrested at Gwalior station while attempting to defraud passengers on the Pune-Jammu Tawi Jhelum Express.
Kamal Pandey, who claimed to be an Army personnel from Babina town in Uttar Pradesh, was taken into custody by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) after a fellow passenger reported his suspicious activities via the Rail Madad system.
Pandey was reportedly caught collecting money under false pretenses, including fines from ticketless travelers and charges for seat allocation. The Railway and RPF teams detained him upon the train's arrival, and he was subsequently handed over to the Government Railway Police (GRP) for further investigation.
