A 30-year-old man, identified as Mohammad Ishaq, has been accused of sexually exploiting a woman after fostering a relationship through social media. The complaint was filed by the woman with the HSR Layout Police, who alleged that Ishaq promised marriage but reneged and became engaged to another individual.
The complainant, a sales executive residing in HSR Layout, stated that she met Ishaq on Instagram in October of the previous year. Their online interactions led to an intimate physical relationship, fueled by Ishaq's assurances of marriage.
The situation escalated when the woman discovered Ishaq's engagement to another woman in September 2025. Confronted, Ishaq allegedly threatened the complainant, leaving her no choice but to approach the authorities. Police confirmed that they have registered a case and are pursuing legal action based on the woman's report.
