A tragic incident unfolded in Rajasthan's Barmer district, where a man has been accused of killing his elder brother in a dispute over funeral expenses, as per police reports.
The deadly confrontation took place on Wednesday night in Navatla village, where 35-year-old Ganesh Ram and his younger brother, Kishna Ram, engaged in a heated argument concerning the money spent on their father's last rites, according to SHO Magaram.
During the altercation, Kishna allegedly attacked Ganesh with an axe, striking him fatally on the head before fleeing the scene. Investigations are underway, with the police actively searching for the accused.
