Tragedy has struck Jharkhand's Palamu district with the deaths of two men in separate incidents. On Tuesday, a 45-year-old man named Shiv Kumar Rajwar from Lakadhi village lost his life after being struck by a train on the Garhwa Road-Tori railway line. Local police confirmed the details and transferred the body to the Government Railway Police as investigations continue.
In a separate incident under the Hariharganj police station, 42-year-old Jasumuddin Ansari was brutally attacked by unidentified assailants late Monday. Ansari, a welding shop owner from Satgawan Mohalla, was assaulted near the block office while returning home. Despite being rushed to a hospital in Aurangabad district, Bihar, he succumbed to his injuries.
No arrests have been made yet in Ansari's case, with police actively examining CCTV footage and seeking information on the unidentified attackers. An FIR has been filed, and the deceased's bike was seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
