Major Drug Bust in Jammu & Kashmir: Women Arrested

In a significant breakthrough against narcotics trafficking, police in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district arrested two women on Wednesday. The arrests came during a routine check in the Melhura Zainapora area of south Kashmir.

A police official reported that over 15 kg of narcotics were seized, comprising 15 kg of crushed cannabis and 1 kg of charas-like substances. This operation marks a critical step in the region's efforts to combat drug distribution networks.

The police have registered a case at the Zainapora police station and have begun further investigations to uncover potential links and networks associated with the seized substances.
