The Jammu and Kashmir police have successfully apprehended a long-sought fugitive in the Kulgam district. Mohammad Fareed Bajard, a key suspect fleeing justice for seven years, was finally arrested by the authorities.
Bajard, hailing from Gundah Khawas in Rajouri district, had been wanted in a significant case registered at the Yaripora police station. The arrest came as part of the ongoing crackdown on absconders and proclaimed offenders across the region.
After receiving specific intelligence, a dedicated police team managed to track down Bajard. Following legally mandated procedures, he was presented before the court to face charges from his years of evasion since 2018.
