The visit commenced with a ceremonial Guard of Honour for Major General Al Hallami at the South Lawn in New Delhi, overseen by General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff. According to an official post by the Indian Army on platform X, the honor signified the deepening defense cooperation and mutual respect between the Indian and UAE armed forces. His two-day visit, covering October 27 and 28, aims to bolster military ties and explore new avenues for collaboration.
During his visit, Major General Al Hallami attended briefings on India's defense capabilities, including updates from the Director General of Information Systems and the Army Design Bureau.
