Counterfeit Operation Unmasked: Fake Toothpaste Racket Busted in Delhi
Delhi Police have dismantled a fake toothpaste manufacturing operation in the Khanjawala area, arresting its owner Hari Om Mishra. Operating without license, the unit posed health risks. Over 1,800 fake filled tubes and 130 kg of paste were seized. Investigation continues.

The Delhi Police have successfully dismantled a counterfeit toothpaste manufacturing operation in outer Delhi's Khanjawala area, a senior official announced on Friday.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a Mahaveer Vihar godown on Thursday, seizing a large cache of fake toothpaste and related materials. Items seized included empty tubes, packaging material, adhesive tapes featuring brand names, and raw materials.
Six laborers were discovered filling locally made paste into tubes of a reputed brand, said the officer. The operation, led by 58-year-old Hari Om Mishra from Rohini, operated without a license. In total, around 1,800 filled fake tubes and over 10,000 empty tubes were found, along with 130 kg of paste. A case has been registered as the probe continues.
