Tragedy Strikes: Suspected Food Poisoning Claims Lives
Two members of a family died in Kollam after dining at a Vizhinjam restaurant, possibly due to food poisoning, according to police. Two other family members are under treatment. The restaurant is sealed, and authorities are investigating, but no further complaints have been reported despite hundreds having dined there.

Authorities are investigating a suspected case of food poisoning that resulted in the deaths of two family members in Kollam. They dined at a Vizhinjam restaurant, now sealed for inspection, on the night in question.
Police report that two other family members are undergoing treatment following the incident. The family, from Nilamel near Chadayamangalam, has prompted a case of unnatural death to be filed.
Although hundreds dined at the same restaurant, no other illnesses have been reported. The cause of death is yet to be confirmed through post-mortem examination.
