Himachal Pradesh is set to redefine its healthcare landscape with an approved budget of Rs 1,617 crore as part of the first phase of a comprehensive Rs 3,000-crore modernization initiative.
Scheduled from April 1, 2026, the plan aims to overhaul infrastructure in medical colleges and health facilities across the state.
This project encompasses technological advancements such as AI-enabled devices, digital health platforms, and advanced diagnostic tools, all designed to improve medical care delivery in even the most remote areas.
