According to Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, 125 notices have been filed, including queries on topics like road construction, solar energy, and drug abuse prevention. The session will prioritize government business while the decision on extending the session rests upon further evaluation of the agenda.
In light of potential protests, elaborate security arrangements have been put in place, with extensive police deployment and surveillance measures in and around the assembly premises. The session also involves discussions on discontinuing the revenue deficit grant, as advised by the 16th Finance Commission, posing a substantial challenge to the state's financial planning.
