GIFT City in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, stands at the forefront of India's urban overhaul, positioning itself as a key financial and technology hub on the global stage. State-of-the-art digital and infrastructure developments are boosting India's appeal as an investment destination, making GIFT City a pivotal piece in this transformative journey.
Anil Parmar, Vice President (Engineering) of GIFT City, highlighted the city's world-class infrastructure. 'We've built a globally competitive framework with an integrated utility system where core services coexist within a tunnel, eliminating the need for disruptive excavations for future developments,' he explained.
Exceptional in its design, GIFT City boasts India's first fully integrated smart operations model. A centralized Command and Control Centre monitors essential services such as electricity, water, and high-speed internet. According to CTO Dr. Nilesh Kumar Purey, pre-occupancy checks ensure real-time utility management, enhancing efficiency and response times.
Global corporations have noticed this strategic advantage, with Bank of America, KPMG, and Infibeam Avenues expanding their footprints into the hub. In a landmark collaboration, Deakin University has launched an international campus here, underlining the city’s elevation as an educational crossroads through India-Australia cooperation spearheaded by governmental initiatives, commented Deepak Bajaj, Campus Director.
The synergy of smart infrastructure, an evolving business ecosystem, and international educational alliances makes GIFT City a quintessential model for India's urban future. As nations vie for supremacy in investment and innovation, GIFT City is paving India’s way onto the global financial map—a narrative set to define growth stories for years to come. (ANI)
