Indian Duo Gears Up for WRC3 Debut in Rally Islas Canarias
TSI Racing's Dean Mascarenhas and Gagan Karumbaiah will make their debut in the FIA World Rally Championship's WRC3 category at Rally Islas Canarias. TSI Racing is set to make a significant comeback on the global stage with Indian rally drivers Dean Mascarenhas and co-driver Gagan Karumbaiah ready for their debut in the FIA World Rally Championship's WRC3 class. The duo will be competing in the 50th Rally Islas Canarias, which begins on Thursday.
The prestigious rally, located in Gran Canaria, will present 18 special stages covering 301.30 kilometers, all on asphalt surfaces. Driving the reliable Ford Fiesta Rally3, Mascarenhas and Karumbaiah will face a competitive WRC3 field over four days, marking an important moment for India's rallying ambitions.
After a dominant 2025 Indian National Rally Championship, Mascarenhas emphasized the importance of this opportunity, acknowledging the support from TSI Racing and PH Sport. Co-driver Karumbaiah's expertise will be crucial in managing the unfamiliar tarmac transitions and contributing to a successful outing.
