Ceigall India's Solar Revolution Powers Sustainable Agriculture
Ceigall India's subsidiary has signed 15 agreements to supply solar energy to Madhya Pradesh Power Management. The initiative focuses on sustainable agriculture through solar power, supporting India's clean energy goals. The project, costing Rs 572 crore, has a 12-month execution period and a 25-year operational term.

Ceigall India's subsidiary, Ceigall Green Energy MP Ltd, has entered into 15 power purchase agreements with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company. These agreements aim to supply electricity from a 130-MW solar capacity as part of the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeder Yojana, which provides reliable daytime power to the agricultural sector through dedicated solar feeders.
The agreements stipulate that Ceigall Green Energy MP Ltd will be responsible for the implementation, operation, maintenance, and power supply from its 130-MW solar photovoltaic generating stations over 25 years, at a price of Rs 2.85 per unit.
The initiative, valued at an estimated EPC cost of Rs 572 crore, is consistent with India's commitment to sustainable development and energy security, while leveraging Ceigall India's core expertise in executing large-scale projects, according to Chairman and Managing Director Ramneek Sehgal.
