The incident unfolded on Tuesday night in Patai village under the jurisdiction of the Aron police station.
City Superintendent of Police Manish Yadav revealed that the altercation began when neighbors of local resident Mahesh Jatav demanded liquor during the wedding festivities. The groom's refusal to supply or finance the liquor led to a conflict that escalated into physical violence, with injuries reported among the groom's family.
Further allegations include the theft of household items and cash by the accused. Speaking to reporters, the groom's mother, Sheela, recounted the demands and subsequent assault on her family by neighbors, including herself, her husband, and the bride. Officials confirmed that a probe into the incident is currently underway.
