Concurrently, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee intensified her criticism of the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing the ruling party of attempting to manipulate the democratic process in West Bengal. Banerjee is leading a sit-in protest, denouncing the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, which she claims is unfairly targeting legitimate voters.
