During the severe Cyclonic Storm Montha, over 11,000 employees from Andhra Pradesh's energy department were deployed to maintain power supply and address infrastructure issues, revealed Chief Secretary K Vijayanand.
Vijayanand assured that power supply would be fully restored by Thursday, following coordinated efforts to tackle challenges caused by the storm.
Despite the ongoing heavy rains, the team worked tirelessly, resolving problems at multiple substations to ensure uninterrupted electricity, thus maintaining essential services to the public.
