Tragic Incident: Teenage Girl's Death Sparks Investigation

A 15-year-old girl, Shivangi Yadav, reportedly ended her life after an altercation with her family regarding academics and household duties. Mayil town police confirmed the tragedy took place on Sunday night.

Following the scolding, Shivangi retreated to her room, locking herself inside. When she failed to respond to family members, they forcibly entered to find her hanging by a dupatta. A doctor’s evaluation confirmed her death.

Authorities swiftly undertook an investigation, dispatching the body for post-mortem analysis. Law enforcement continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident, according to the Mayil Station House Officer.
