Himachal's Development Drive: CM Sukhu Unveils Multicrore Projects in Barsar
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated various development projects in Barsar assembly constituency, Himachal Pradesh. Projects include a helipad, road upgrades, and a health center. Educational upgrades and environmental initiatives were announced, emphasizing state progress and infrastructure improvement. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched numerous development projects worth Rs 41.52 crore in the Barsar assembly constituency, Hamirpur district, during a one-day tour, according to an official statement. Key inaugurations included the Rs 1.34 crore Bumbloo helipad and the Rs 17.45 crore Mini Secretariat Barsar.
Addressing a large public gathering, CM Sukhu declared the upgrade of GSSS Barsar to a CBSE-affiliated school. In addition, he announced plans to expand Barsar hospital to 100 beds and revealed a Rs 300 crore investment for the Cancer Institute at Hamirpur medical college. Various educational, infrastructure, and sports facilities are also on the agenda.
The Chief Minister also highlighted substantial investments in road infrastructure, including Rs 96 crore dedicated to Barsar's roads and Rs 65 crore for Baba Balak Nath shrine enhancement. This development push in Hamirpur district reflects a broader strategy to improve regional connectivity and facilities.
