Chauhan emphasized the importance of political courtesy in Himachal Pradesh, stressing that legislators should uphold a sense of respect and brotherhood. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh echoed similar sentiments, advocating for dignity in political exchanges. Sudhir Sharma defended himself by stating the post did not explicitly name the chief minister, attributing interpretations to others.
