Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha marked a milestone for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday by unveiling a newly established party office in Takarjala. Alongside, 200 families, totaling 690 individuals, joined the BJP, reinforcing the party's grassroots presence in this region.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Chief Minister Saha spoke of progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking a stand against those perpetuating divisive politics. He warned that attempts to mislead the tribal community would yield no benefit, asserting the state's commitment to peace and democracy.
In a separate event, Saha attended the Police Commemoration Day in Agartala, lauding police and security forces for safeguarding national sovereignty. He paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country's security and praised ongoing efforts to uphold India's integrity.
