Kedarnath Dham Opens to Pilgrims Amid Reverent Rituals

The doors of Kedarnath Dham opened to a massive turnout of devotees on Wednesday morning, signaling the start of the popular pilgrimage season. Hymns echoed across the Himalayan valley as traditional Vedic rituals marked the occasion.
State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami led early morning prayers and assessed pilgrimage arrangements, ensuring efficient access for the thousands of visitors gathered. Dhami highlighted efforts to streamline the queue system to facilitate quick 'darshan' for pilgrims.
Encouraging a renewed focus on sustainability, the chief minister urged visitors to partake in a 'Green Yatra' by maintaining a plastic-free environment. Nearby shrines, Badrinath Dham, Yamunotri, and Gangotri, are also welcoming pilgrims this month.
