Tragic Losses: Pilgrims Suffer Heart Attacks Near Yamunotri Dham
Two pilgrims, a 40-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh and a 65-year-old man from Maharashtra, died due to cardiac arrests near Yamunotri Dham. The woman was rushed to Janki Chatti Primary Health Centre, where she was declared dead. Similarly, the man was found unconscious and declared dead at the same facility.

A 40-year-old woman from Madhya Pradesh and an elderly man from Maharashtra met a tragic fate as they died in separate incidents near Yamunotri Dham. Pratima Mishra suffered a cardiac arrest while heading to the shrine and was pronounced dead at Janki Chatti Primary Health Centre.
Dr. Hardev Singh Panwar confirmed that Mishra was brought in an unconscious state by her husband, Dharmendra Mishra. Despite efforts to revive her, the cause of death was established as cardiac arrest.
In a similar incident, 65-year-old Uday Gajanan Tambe from Nashik also succumbed to a heart attack. A Nepalese laborer discovered him unconscious and brought him to the health center, where medical staff declared him dead.
