Governor Vijay Kumar Singh and Chief Minister Lalduhoma extended warm greetings, highlighting the spiritual significance of the day. Services included Holy Communion, reflecting Jesus' last supper with his disciples, and processions were organized by the Roman Catholic community.
A hallmark of the observance was 'Zaikhawm,' a tradition of congregational singing, alongside community feasts in some villages. Government offices, educational institutions, and banks remained closed in observance of this sacred day.
