The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has significantly expanded its organizational activities in Maharashtra's Konkan region over the past year, now hosting 694 active shakhas, according to a senior official.

Arjun Chandekar, the Kokan Prant Sanghchalak, revealed that the organization's presence has grown by 8%, with 442 weekly and 79 monthly 'milans' held across the coastal regions. In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, their presence is marked by 258 shakhas, 155 weekly, and 24 monthly milans.

Chandekar highlighted the organization's centenary year celebrations, including extensive door-to-door campaigns and numerous programs focused on community engagement, youth involvement, and social harmony.
