RSS Expands Influence in Konkan Amid Centenary Celebrations
The RSS has intensified its organizational activities in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, expanding by 8% with 694 active shakhas. The region has seen a robust outreach involving swayamsevaks interacting with over 3 lakh households. Events are planned to celebrate RSS's centenary focusing on social and civic engagement.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has significantly expanded its organizational activities in Maharashtra's Konkan region over the past year, now hosting 694 active shakhas, according to a senior official.
Arjun Chandekar, the Kokan Prant Sanghchalak, revealed that the organization's presence has grown by 8%, with 442 weekly and 79 monthly 'milans' held across the coastal regions. In the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, their presence is marked by 258 shakhas, 155 weekly, and 24 monthly milans.
Chandekar highlighted the organization's centenary year celebrations, including extensive door-to-door campaigns and numerous programs focused on community engagement, youth involvement, and social harmony. These initiatives aim to strengthen connections with residents while underscoring civic duties and environmental awareness.
