In a biting critique, NCP (SP) legislature party leader Jayant Patil accused the Maharashtra government of ignoring the widespread LPG cylinder shortage, despite assembly speaker directives to address the issue.
Patil claimed both state and Central governments have mishandled the situation, pushing responsibility off onto the opposition and failing citizens. He argues that trust and collaboration across political spectrums are essential to resolving the crisis.
The shortage, exacerbated by international shipping dynamics and geopolitical tensions, calls for urgent intervention. Patil pointed to the safe arrival of Indian LPG carriers at Gujarat ports as a temporary relief, stressing the need for consistent supply.
