At the age of 78, Sushma Moghe has proven that learning knows no age limits, securing a gold medal in Devi Ahilya University's M.A. course in Marathi. Her achievement was recognized at the university's convocation, where Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel congratulated her.
Moghe expressed her joy and gratitude, attributing her success to the support of her teachers who guided her both online and offline. For Moghe, this educational pursuit was a means to fill the void left by retirement, reigniting a purpose and passion for learning.
Continuing her academic engagement, Moghe now translates Hindi literary works into Marathi. Her advice to others is to use free time for reading and learning. Dr. Rakesh Singhai, Vice Chancellor, applauded her as a pride for the institution, celebrating along with other scholars at the convocation.
