Mahashivratri Celebrations Unite Leaders in Bihar

In a grand display of cultural and political unity, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and BJP national president Nitin Nabin celebrated Mahashivratri at the Khajpura Shiv Temple in Patna. This marked a significant annual festival, attracting large crowds under stringent security measures.

Chief Minister Kumar, accompanied by a cohort of influential figures including Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and former Sikkim governor Ganga Prasad, performed aarti to Lord Shiva and sought divine blessings for peace and prosperity in the region. The event was marked by traditional rituals, including aarti and the offering of flower petals.

Arriving later was Nitin Nabin, who received a warm reception alongside Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Agriculture Minister Ram Kripal Yadav. The ceremony, supported by Shri Shri Mahashivratri Mahotsav Shobha Yatra Abhinandan Samiti, underscored the cultural richness and political relevance of this longstanding tradition, now in its eighth year.
