The All India Football Federation (AIFF) revealed a thrilling update for football fans nationwide as it announced the schedule for the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 season. Originally set to start on February 21, the league will now commence on February 27 with two exciting matches.

The revised opening day will feature Namdhari FC clashing with Aizawl FC, while Chanmari FC will battle it out against Gokulam Kerala FC. Clubs proposed a dynamic two-stage format for the 10 participating teams to ensure competitive play through single-leg home-and-away rounds in Stage 1.
