In a remarkable show of faith and support, the public has donated more than Rs 3,000 crore for the Ram Temple's construction in Ayodhya, as confirmed by Ram Mandir Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Mishra on Wednesday.
The project's cost is estimated at around Rs 1,800 crore, though contributions have far exceeded this, highlighting the widespread enthusiasm across the nation. A flag hoisting ceremony on November 25 will honor the contributors, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief guest.
The event, including Modi's visit to several iconic sites within the temple complex, symbolizes the spiritual and cultural significance of the project. The main temple can accommodate 5,000 to 8,000 devotees, ensuring access to thousands during the ceremonious occasion.
