Senior Army officers have joined forces with the Ram Mandir Trust in a rehearsal for a high-profile flag-hoisting ceremony atop the temple's spire in Ayodhya, according to officials.
Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra revealed that the temple Trust sought the Army's expertise to facilitate effective training and smooth execution of the November 25 ceremony.
Mishra divulged details of the ceremonial flag, noting its 11-kilogram weight and the 11-foot flagpole. Around 8,000 guests are expected at the event, but common devotees will not have access to the temple on this day.
