Uttar Pradesh Gears Up for Historic National Jamboree

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led a high-level meeting to oversee preparations for the 19th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides. After a 61-year hiatus, the event returns to Uttar Pradesh, embodying the themes of youth discipline and national service.
Scheduled for November 23-29 at Lucknow's Defence Expo Ground, the Jamboree will host 28,000-29,000 scouts, guides, 1,000-2,000 international attendees, and 5,000 volunteers. The expansive 300-acre site will feature comprehensive facilities, including tents, hygiene amenities, kitchens, and a large arena for spectators.
The event promises to empower youth and highlight cultural heritage. Technological innovations like IT and AI hubs will enrich the experience, while sustainable practices like waste segregation signal a green commitment. A drone show and thrilling activities further accentuate the Jamboree's appeal.
