Chhath Festivities Illuminate Delhi with Renewed Splendor

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the grandeur of this year's Chhath festivities during her Monday evening participation, highlighting the event's unique splendor in the national capital.
Gupta, with Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva and MP Yogender Chandolia, visited a Chhath Ghat in Manglopuri. She extended good wishes to Delhi's populace, noting the festival's divinity as a source of comfort.
This year's celebrations marked a return to the Yamuna banks after a ban under the prior government. Extensive preparations for the festival by the BJP government facilitated the Purvanchali community's significant participation, with 17 Yamuna banks and 1,500 temporary ghats established citywide.
