An outcry has erupted among members of the Ahir community, who staged a foot march blocking a major highway on Sunday. This protest in Haryana was ignited by the upcoming release of Farhan Akhtar's film '120 Bahadur'. Protesters demand a change to the movie's title that they argue better honors their community's sacrifice during the 1962 Indo-China war.

Organized by the Sanyukt Ahir Regiment Morcha, the demonstrators walked from Kherki Daula Toll Plaza to the Delhi border, urging for a title change to '120 Veer Ahir'. They claim that the current name does not sufficiently credit the bravery and sacrifice of the 120 Ahir soldiers from the 13th Kumaon Regiment, who were pivotal in defending Rezang La against Chinese forces.

Advocate Sube Singh Yadav, representing the morcha, warned of further steps, including a potential Supreme Court petition and discussions with Haryana's Chief Minister Nayanb Singh Saini, should the title go unchanged. The protest also resulted in significant traffic disruptions, causing over a kilometer-long jam on NH-48.
