Actor-politician Vijay convened a meeting with the families affected by the Karur stampede at a resort near Mahabalipuram, a month after the tragic event occurred, according to sources from Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).
The closed-door meeting, attended by 37 families brought in from Karur, focused on offering support and condolences to each individual family. Vijay promised financial aid and educational support during the gathering, which was organized in rooms booked by TVK.
The stampede tragedy claimed 41 lives and injured over 60 people during a TVK event in September. Vijay's gesture aimed to personally address the grievances of the bereaved families and ensure them support.
