Reviving Kabir's Eternal Teachings in Modern India

At the Smriti Mahotsav Mela 2025 in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath underscored the timeless relevance of Sant Kabir Das's teachings. Emphasizing simplicity, equality, and righteousness, he urged the adoption of Kabir's philosophies in modern life.

Adityanath paid homage to saints who advanced Kabir's spirit at the Kabirdham Ashram. Highlighting Kabir's 'nirgun bhakti', the Chief Minister noted its role in simplifying the understanding of soul-divine union in colloquial language.

Yogi Adityanath integrated Kabir's ideals, like opposition to caste barriers, with contemporary India's growth narrative. Stressing internal reforms inspired by saints, he advocated drawing lessons from Kabir for overcoming societal challenges, establishing national progress, and invigorating moral and spiritual development.
