Honoring the Heroes: Delhi Police Pays Tribute to Its Fallen

On Friday, the Delhi Police solemnly honored its martyrs at the National Police Memorial in Chanakyapuri as part of the All India Police Commemoration Day. Commissioner of Police Satish Golchha led senior officers in laying wreaths, paying tribute to personnel who sacrificed their lives in service.

The day's solemn events commenced with a 'Run for Martyrs', a symbolic gesture from Nehru Park to the memorial, spearheaded by Commissioner Golchha and senior officers. This was followed by a floral tribute ceremony, attended by family members of the martyrs.

Throughout the day, family members visited the memorial, attended a video presentation showcasing police valor, and honored the fallen at the Wall of Valour. The observance concluded with a poignant Beating Retreat ceremony and a band display by the Delhi Police.
