Sikkim Celebrates Opening of Its First Multi-Screen Theater
Gangtok witnessed the inauguration of Sikkim's first multi-screen movie theatre complex on Friday. The three-screen multiplex at Westpoint Mall was officially opened by state Rural Development Minister Arun Upreti and Gangtok MLA Delay Namgyal Barfungpa, offering 482 seats and modern features for audiences.

Sikkim marked a milestone in entertainment as its first multi-screen movie theatre complex was inaugurated in Gangtok on Friday.
The state-of-the-art three-screen multiplex, located at Westpoint Mall, was opened by state Rural Development Minister Arun Upreti and Gangtok MLA Delay Namgyal Barfungpa. It houses a total of 482 seats, distributed across three auditoriums.
The facility boasts modern features aimed at enhancing the movie-watching experience. PVR INOX Limited Managing Director Ajay Bijli expressed enthusiasm, stating, "We are thrilled to bring world-class entertainment to the people of Sikkim."
