On Friday, U.S. singer Chris Brown made an unexpected appearance at a London court for a procedural hearing in an ongoing legal case. The charges stem from an alleged attack on a music producer in a London nightclub earlier this year.
Although not obligated to attend, the 36-year-old artist was present at Southwark Crown Court, confirming his identity to the judge. Accompanying him was co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu, 38, with both having denied the charges. Their trial is scheduled for October 2026.
In May, Brown was granted bail, enabling him to resume his “Breezy Bowl XX” tour across the UK, after paying bail amounting to 5 million pounds. His legal troubles began after his arrest in Manchester, marking his first return to Britain since the nightclub incident.
