Tradejini Democratizes Elite Investment Strategies with Specialized Investment Funds
Tradejini introduces Specialized Investment Funds (SIFs) to its platform, allowing retail investors access to sophisticated hedge fund-style strategies previously limited to high-net-worth individuals. This initiative follows Sebi's move to bridge structural gaps in investment strategies and aims to democratize institutional-grade investing for serious investors.

Brokerage firm Tradejini has unveiled Specialized Investment Funds (SIFs) on its platform, providing retail investors with access to advanced hedge fund-style strategies previously exclusive to affluent individuals. This move, announced on Monday, aligns with the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (Sebi) recent regulatory shift.
The introduction of SIFs transforms the investment landscape by enabling retail investors to engage in active management strategies. These strategies include long-short equity, sector rotation, and tactical asset allocation. Additionally, they offer exposure to equities, fixed income, REITs, InvITs, and derivatives with a minimum investment threshold of Rs 10 lakh.
According to Trivesh Dinesh, COO of Bengaluru-based Tradejini, this new initiative is intended to democratize access to institutional-grade investment frameworks, traditionally reserved for ultra-high-net-worth portfolios. By combining transparency, disclosure, and governance standards with active strategic flexibility, SIFs enhance accessibility to sophisticated investing.
